A former dancer, teacher, school principal, artist and scholar Kate Robertson was re-introduced to the study of Christian Science after a pivotal series of healings brought her freedom from acute achoholism, drug abuse, eating disorders, self-destructive behaviors, kidney disease resulting in kidney failure, a lifetime of poor eyesight, and decades of chronic illness and allergies.

Following months of prayer and the study of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures in order to understand how she had been healed, Kate received advanced instruction in how to heal spiritually. Immediately following graduation from this course, Kate went into public practice as a Christian Science healer in her community. Over the last 20 years, her healing practice has expanded to embrace a more global sense of public service and ministry. Kate and her husband, Jeff, share in the joy of parenting the five children they share with their former spouses as a blended family... as well as nurturing and encouraging her daughters' relationship with their birthfamilies.

Her primary goal over the last fifteen years has been to broaden the reach of spiritual healing in the world, based on the life and ideas of author and 19th century thought-leader Mary Baker Eddy. Kate's graduate research and scholarship in the fields of Women's Studies/History has found fresh inspiration in her decade-long focus on Women's Spirituality and 19th Century Women Reformers. This in-depth probing into the lives and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy and her contemporaries has unfolded new views of womanhood and its relationship to wellness in both men and women.

Kate is enjoying integrating her love for the arts into her understanding and practice of the science of spiritual healing.
